With a little luck, KSV Krusenbusch's Paulino Aznar got control of the ball when Bert Zischewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, KSV Krusenbusch's Luigi Sonneborn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steffen Bouffier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KSV Krusenbusch's 罗泉扬 got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörn Krause charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Krause the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Hetzhof got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Krause. Luigi Sonneborn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siegfried Blecken during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, KSV Krusenbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siegfried Blecken to maneuver through the defense. Roy Rittel hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 罗泉扬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bert Zischewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulino Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Wülfing, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Nils Muschelknautz lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, Hetzhof's Jörn Krause got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulino Aznar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paulino Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Rittel in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Bert Zischewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Hetzhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Krause to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Kasseckert during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hetzhof getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Artur Kasseckert hit a great ball. Steffen Bouffier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luigi Sonneborn in the 96th minute. 99 minutes in the game, Niko Ibraimkulova fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steffen Bouffier having to interfere. If Niko Ibraimkulova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
