Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gülsün Kwon made the kick off and thus started the match. Steffen Bouffier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gülsün Kwon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Artur Kasseckert fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hetzhof's protests and gave Artur Kasseckert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Riekenrode FC booed when Hetzhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Kasseckert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bert Zischewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörg Akgün hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Roy Rittel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Niko Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niko Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Zischewski in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Hetzhof's goalkeeper Steffen Bouffier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Kolb. Kai Kolb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Steffen Bouffier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hetzhof's Steffen Bouffier got control of the ball when Kai Kolb tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gülsün Kwon came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Riekenrode FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gülsün Kwon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Rittel in the 31st minute of play forced Riekenrode FC's goalkeeper Niko Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blaise Hemmersbach kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Roy Rittel struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Niko Mark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hetzhof. Roy Rittel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Niko Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gülsün Kwon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steffen Bouffier came out and tried to block the shot, but Gülsün Kwon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Kai Kolb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riekenrode FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Kolb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Rittel made a kick off. Niko Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Rittel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Hetzhof's Bert Zischewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niko Mark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bert Zischewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riekenrode FC's Niko Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Rittel in the 77th minute of play. Bert Zischewski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niko Mark firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gülsün Kwon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Gülsün Kwon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hetzhof's Steffen Bouffier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
