Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carl Franiel started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Eckhardt Ruben was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oeverich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langereihe FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oeverich fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Michel Ahrens made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Carl Franiel sent off a good shot on target. Carl Franiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Ahrens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Schürhoff in the 21st minute of play forced Oeverich's goalkeeper Rudolf Sebastiany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Sude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Langereihe FC's zone, Carl Franiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Ahrens came out of the goal and Carl Franiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Langereihe FC's Niko Schaape got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes Oeverich got a freekick which was hit by Jim Vordenbäumen. Carl Franiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Sude made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Steffen Schürhoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolf Sebastiany. The goal made the score 0-2. Niko Schaape's late challenge caught a Oeverich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niko Schaape helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Langereihe FC's Niko Schaape got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Oeverich booed when Langereihe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Sude didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carl Franiel came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Oeverich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Franiel couldn't finish the play. Georg Botz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carl Franiel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Oeverich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Franiel couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Sebastiany was a little too slow when Andreas Sude got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4. The Oeverich fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Langereihe FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
