The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rudolf Sebastiany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf Wuong, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Rudolf Sebastiany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Thomale in the 11th minute of play. Carl Franiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Leopold Schlott made a huge save. Wolf Wuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakob Weißgerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rudolf Sebastiany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Sebastiany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Wuong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopold Schlott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Botz in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Franiel got free with Leopold Schlott in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Wolf Wuong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Sebastiany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Botz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopold Schlott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rudolf Sebastiany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Weißgerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roque Klemz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oeverich's protests and gave Roque Klemz a yellow card for diving instead. Roque Klemz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Wolf Wuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Schlott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Franiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oeverich fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! If Jakob Weißgerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Möstenberg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oeverich.
