Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mellenbach FC's Claus Reiners started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lauro Müllerwiebus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Degdau charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Degdau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mellenbach FC's Ralf Degdau got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Mellenbach FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ralf Degdau hit a great ball. Mario Krapp struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. David-Pascal Weichelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caperücitënn. 21 minutes into the match, Mellenbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Krapp came free, but David-Pascal Weichelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Müllerwiebus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffen Lehnecke charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Lehnecke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caperücitënn booed when Mellenbach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Lehnecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg David-Pascal Weichelt managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Caperücitënn's Costa Dülfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Costa Dülfer struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. David-Pascal Weichelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caperücitënn. In the 33rd minute, Caperücitënn's Lauro Müllerwiebus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David-Pascal Weichelt. David-Pascal Weichelt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Malte Vuranoglu sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because David-Pascal Weichelt threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Malte Vuranoglu this time. In the 40th minute, Lauro Müllerwiebus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Roman Andersen from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got David-Pascal Weichelt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Caperücitënn's Mario Krapp got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauro Müllerwiebus to strike the kick off in the second half. Erhard Kurth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David-Pascal Weichelt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mellenbach FC's zone, Lauro Müllerwiebus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David-Pascal Weichelt came out of the goal and Lauro Müllerwiebus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lauro Müllerwiebus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 58 minutes of play, Caperücitënn's Costa Dülfer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David-Pascal Weichelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Mellenbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costa Dülfer came free, but David-Pascal Weichelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David-Pascal Weichelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costa Dülfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erhard Kurth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dirk Prott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. David-Pascal Weichelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Prott in the 71st minute of play forced Mellenbach FC's goalkeeper David-Pascal Weichelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David-Pascal Weichelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmer Aist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Lauro Müllerwiebus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mellenbach FC's David-Pascal Weichelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Prott in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mellenbach FC defense, Mario Krapp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David-Pascal Weichelt. The Mellenbach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David-Pascal Weichelt should have stopped the shot. Dirk Prott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David-Pascal Weichelt having to interfere. If Dirk Prott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David-Pascal Weichelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Müllerwiebus, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Caperücitënn got a corner. Mellenbach FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Krapp ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caperücitënn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Krapp in the 96th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lauro Müllerwiebus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David-Pascal Weichelt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee ended the match the Caperücitënn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
