Eugen Zachariassen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Paul Stedefeldt in the 3rd minute of play. Peppo Fey kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. FC Suhl's Timo Wohl got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gero Lehn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ralf Witzky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Witzky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gero Lehn in the 9th minute of play. Eugen Zachariassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Gilliot in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Berne Mcroberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Zachariassen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC Suhl's Gero Lehn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ralf Witzky narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, FC Suhl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigmund Hässler to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Suhl defense, Stefan Debkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugen Zachariassen. The FC Suhl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Zachariassen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Debkowski in the 19th minute of play forced FC Suhl's goalkeeper Eugen Zachariassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 1.Fc Özkan getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Thorsten Tanne hit a great ball. Ralf Witzky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gero Lehn in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, 1.Fc Özkan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Debkowski to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Zachariassen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Gilliot, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eugen Zachariassen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Mukengechay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Pascal Kornrumpf from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Ralf Witzky's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A hard shot 34 in the game by Timo Wohl from a close distance when the talented Ralf Witzky managed to make a qualified save. 1.Fc Özkan's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Stefan Debkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugen Zachariassen was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 1.Fc Özkan's Ralf Witzky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Wohl in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Paul Dammann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Suhl and the 1.Fc Özkan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 1.Fc Özkan booed when FC Suhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Dammann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berne Mcroberts took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugen Zachariassen. Eugen Zachariassen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berne Mcroberts made a kick off. Ralf Witzky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Wohl, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Berne Mcroberts succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 57th playminute. After 59 played minutes FC Suhl got a freekick which was hit by Gero Lehn. 1.Fc Özkan's Adam Mukengechay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eugen Zachariassen but with some difficulty. Gero Lehn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Suhl's Wolfram Steele was substituted for Pascal Kornrumpf. Ralf Witzky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Wohl, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Eugen Zachariassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Mukengechay in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Timo Wohl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.Fc Özkan's Ralf Witzky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugen Zachariassen made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Adam Mukengechay sent off a good shot on target. FC Suhl's Eugen Zachariassen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berne Mcroberts in the 84th minute of play. FC Suhl's Philip Amsoneit was substituted for Gero Lehn. 90 minutes into the match, Berne Mcroberts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugen Zachariassen. FC Suhl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berne Mcroberts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a little luck, FC Suhl's Eugen Zachariassen got control of the ball when Berne Mcroberts tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96 played minutes FC Suhl got a freekick which was hit by Ortwin Saager. Eugen Zachariassen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Mukengechay, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 1.Fc Özkan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
