After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's John Noffke got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Wayyss FSV got a freekick which was hit by Gerald Meng. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, Bosse Grajewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Päßler. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Päßler should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Roberto Hauke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Päßler. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Hauke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hubert Päßler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraim Behloch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borussia Dortmund's Hubert Päßler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Meng in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolai Müller in the 25th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Hubert Päßler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ülo Narusk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slavoj Ukrainets in the 27th minute of play. Hubert Päßler came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Wayyss FSV's Bosse Grajewski. But to his dismay, Bosse Grajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When John Noffke was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. In the 33rd minute, John Noffke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Päßler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efraim Behloch went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Tobias Dworakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bosse Grajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wayyss FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Bosse Grajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Päßler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by 曲风平. In the 45th minute, Roberto Hauke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Päßler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Roberto Hauke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hubert Päßler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efraim Behloch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hubert Päßler came out and tried to block the shot, but Efraim Behloch slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 63rd minute. Hubert Päßler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerald Meng went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, Wayyss FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolai Müller to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slavoj Ukrainets in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ülo Narusk saved Wayyss FSV from getting behind. After having played for 78 minutes, Slavoj Ukrainets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slavoj Ukrainets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adalbert Wittke charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalbert Wittke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalbert Wittke hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
