In the 7th minute, Anton Ackermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BSC Jena 98 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Anton Ackermann took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Thomas Kirchberger to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Ackermann came free, but Thomas Kirchberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, BSC Jena 98's Anton Ackermann made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Kirchberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kim Pretzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Heiner Klütz sped through FC Ameisenigel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Kirchberger. The audience was convinced that Anton Ackermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Kirchberger was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Ackermann in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Kirchberger saved FC Ameisenigel from getting behind. If Kim Pretzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Kornelius Schmorell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Ebbenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Kornelius Schmorell made the kick off in the second half. When BSC Jena 98's Kim Pretzer in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ameisenigel's goalie prevented a goal. In the 53rd minute, Anton Ackermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Kirchberger was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 58 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Ackermann came free, but Thomas Kirchberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Pretzer in the 60th minute of play forced FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Kirchberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Ackermann in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Kim Pretzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Kirchberger. FC Ameisenigel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Pretzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 67 minutes into the game, BSC Jena 98's Anton Ackermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Kirchberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. FC Ameisenigel's Thomas Kirchberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Ackermann in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Heiner Klütz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ameisenigel's Thomas Kirchberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Kirchberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Ackermann in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, BSC Jena 98's Kim Pretzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of BSC Jena 98 booed when FC Ameisenigel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Pache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Ebbenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Ameisenigel's Walt Günther got a free kick in the 94th minute. Thomas Kirchberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Ackermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BSC Jena 98 had played much better football throughout.
