Hartwin Blieske started the match with the kick off. Kornelius Schmorell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Boppo Hofmeister made a huge save. Boppo Hofmeister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Pache in the 8th minute of the match. Ahelle's Boppo Hofmeister proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ahelle from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Ameisenigel getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Matthias Wildemann hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kornelius Schmorell got free with Boppo Hofmeister in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Kirchberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartwin Blieske, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Ahelle's Max Engel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Peer Schmelzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boppo Hofmeister read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Boppo Hofmeister made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Florian Pache sent off a good shot on target. Walt Günther kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankraz Hermsdorf in the 40th minute of play forced FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anton Otto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ameisenigel's protests and gave Anton Otto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ahelle booed when FC Ameisenigel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Otto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankraz Hermsdorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thomas Kirchberger made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hartwin Blieske sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Ameisenigel getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matthias Wildemann hit a great ball. The supporters of Ahelle booed when FC Ameisenigel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Pache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankraz Hermsdorf struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thomas Kirchberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahelle. With a little luck, FC Ameisenigel's Thomas Kirchberger got control of the ball when Hartwin Blieske tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kornelius Schmorell scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boppo Hofmeister, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ahelle getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rex Breitenstein hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes, FC Ameisenigel's Peer Schmelzer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boppo Hofmeister came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Ameisenigel reached it. In the 76th match minute, Ahelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Engel to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Ahelle's goal looked a bit too open when Kornelius Schmorell came free, but Boppo Hofmeister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boppo Hofmeister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Orthaus in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boppo Hofmeister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Finn Canel kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ahelle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
