Jacek Matuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Per Målare received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Ahlstedt got free with Jacek Matuch in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Målare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Becker came free, but Thomas Trenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silvestre Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jochen Schultheiss made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Éthan Pichard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Éthan Pichard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacek Matuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasimir Kehr went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Éthan Pichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Trenker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on SV Bad Harzburg's corner Éthan Pichard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Trenker quite easily take care of the ball. Thomas Trenker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 92nd minute of the match. Gene Centaurs Munich's Thomas Trenker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 93rd minute of play. Thomas Trenker stood somewhat misplaced when Silvestre Loi came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 95 minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gene Centaurs Munich fans cheered their team off the field, for while SV Bad Harzburg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
