Jiří Vlasatý started the match with the kick off. Bayern Bratislava's Vlastimil Plašil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítek Koníček in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Bayern Bratislava's Jiří Vlasatý ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomáš Solař. Tomáš Solař yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 14th minute Jiří Vlasatý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Solař saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiří Hák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jiří Hák might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlastimil Plašil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiří Hák ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute of the match Michal Černín shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlastimil Plašil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes, Sloup's Jurij Koutský shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vlastimil Plašil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sloup reached it. Martin Štencl kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tomáš Solař made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Filip Osička sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jiří Hák to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlastimil Plašil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Kocek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lubomír Jungmann kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Sloup's Jiří Hák in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern Bratislava's zone, Václav Králíček stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlastimil Plašil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 87 minutes into the game, Jiří Hák lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Vlastimil Plašil. 95 minutes into the match, Bayern Bratislava's goalkeeper Vlastimil Plašil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiří Hák. Sloup's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
