When Günter Hrbáček came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tillendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günter Hrbáček couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyril Bulín during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Tillendorf's Bohumír Adam got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vlastimil Plašil. Jaroslav Roubíček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Vlasatý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslav Jagoš in the 29th minute of play forced Bayern Bratislava's goalkeeper Vlastimil Plašil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Pavel Lokaj sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaroslav Roubíček skillfully saved the ball. Vlastimil Plašil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Jagoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Osička fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslav Roubíček having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Tillendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otokar Hanousek to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tillendorf's Otokar Hanousek got a free kick in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Jiří Vlasatý had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jiří Vlasatý was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Günter Hrbáček struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Vlastimil Plašil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tillendorf. In the 72nd match minute, Tillendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonín Poledník to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Filip Osička left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern Bratislava fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tillendorf's Antonín Poledník got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tillendorf's Jaroslav Roubíček proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tillendorf from getting a goal against them. If Filip Osička had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Jiří Vlasatý got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
