Ankh-Morpork Shades's supporters rose to their feet, but David Sikora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Vávra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Sikora made a kick off. If Libor Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Sikora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Vávra having to interfere. Erik Vávra made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Roman Chmiel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Chmiel got free with Erik Vávra in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Jerza Brno's goalkeeper Erik Vávra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Chmiel. Roman Chmiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Vávra having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, David Sikora had to leave the field with a concussion. 72 minutes into the game, Radomil Havrda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jerza Brno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ankh-Morpork Shades the free kick. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Ankh-Morpork Shades. Jerza Brno's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Smrčka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ankh-Morpork Shades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Chmiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Chmiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Erik Vávra made a huge save. When the match was over Ankh-Morpork Shades could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jerza Brno throughout the match.
