Gabriel Holaň might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeáš Kodet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Holaň ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Jiří Hermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Motyka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Holaň got free with Tadeáš Kodet in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, K.Brucknerova Akademie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Libor Hauser to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Brusy's zone, Jiří Matyska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeáš Kodet came out of the goal and Jiří Matyska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeáš Kodet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiří Matyska in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, David Slavík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers František Plíšek in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Motyka saved K.Brucknerova Akademie from getting behind. Gabriel Holaň recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Brusy got a freekick which was hit by Jiří Hermann. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Holaň got free with Tadeáš Kodet in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Otomar Kaňák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeáš Kodet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Libor Hauser showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, K.Brucknerova Akademie's Gabriel Holaň sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeáš Kodet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, David Slavík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. K.Brucknerova Akademie were furious when Josef Krč was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ivo Motyka had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Aleš Březík's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. K.Brucknerova Akademie's Libor Hauser got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otomar Kaňák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tadeáš Kodet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. K.Brucknerova Akademie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brusy the free kick. Čeněk Šišma's late challenge caught a K.Brucknerova Akademie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Čeněk Šišma helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brusy getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Čeněk Šišma hit a great ball. Gabriel Holaň struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tadeáš Kodet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for K.Brucknerova Akademie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Holaň in the 99th minute of play forced Brusy's goalkeeper Tadeáš Kodet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that K.Brucknerova Akademie were the better team. K.Brucknerova Akademie's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
