Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Miroslav Hrabě hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radek Pavlata struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Albert Čekal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mutice. Martin Trochta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luboš Kundrát, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdeněk Nechanický took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Trochta. Mutice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radimír Fajmon in the 37th minute of play forced Mutice's goalkeeper Martin Trochta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Radek Pavlata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match Zdeněk Nechanický sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Trochta skillfully saved the ball. Josef Balog hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Martin Trochta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radimír Fajmon in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Martin Trochta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohumil Škvor, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes, Josef Balog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mutice and the FK Pumperle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Josef Balog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Pumperle's Bohumil Škvor got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, FK Pumperle's Radimír Fajmon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Trochta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mutice's Josef Balog got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Josef Balog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Bohumil Škvor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Trochta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Mutice's Čeněk Holásek made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Čekal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute of the match, Luboš Kundrát got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Trochta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Martin Trochta managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when FK Pumperle's Radimír Fajmon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Trochta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luboš Kundrát in the 93rd minute. FK Pumperle were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mutice's much stronger midfield.
