Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elliot Lind made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karel Brož during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Patov's Kurt Janiš got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jakub Baran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Czech in the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Walery Czech ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakub Baran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th match minute, FC Patov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Pålsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AC Masetschin's Václav Blatný got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Masetschin's zone, Tage Pålsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otta Kotrba came out of the goal and Tage Pålsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tage Pålsson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Patov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Pålsson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to AC Masetschin getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Václav Blatný hit a great ball. Kurt Janiš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Otta Kotrba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Patov's Tage Pålsson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otta Kotrba made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Kurt Janiš sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Jaroslav Ševčík got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Otta Kotrba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, Kurt Janiš notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AC Masetschin's Otta Kotrba. Otta Kotrba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, AC Masetschin's Otta Kotrba got control of the ball when Generoso Papon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC Patov made a substitution. Květoslav Zukal replaced Viliam Schenk. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Janiš was the one to do the kick off. František Bártl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Bártl in the 56th minute of play forced FC Patov's goalkeeper Jakub Baran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Patov getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Josef Choutka hit a great ball. Kurt Janiš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otta Kotrba having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Tage Pålsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Patov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Pålsson in the 80th minute of play forced AC Masetschin's goalkeeper Otta Kotrba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC Masetschin booed when FC Patov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Janiš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otta Kotrba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Pålsson in the 96th minute of play. FC Patov's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
