Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Claro's Louis Vetter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nino Abend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Vetter in the 7th minute of play forced Appenzellerland United's goalkeeper Alfonso Kaelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Burri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino Abend in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Claro's Louis Vetter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Kaelin. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the match, Claro's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Abend came free, but Andy Burri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Gerrit Zettel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claro and the Appenzellerland United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Claro's Gerrit Zettel got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alfonso Kaelin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Christian Süber sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Kaelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Vetter in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Mickey Raiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claro's Andy Burri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nino Abend blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Burri having to make a save. Gerrit Zettel got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gerrit Zettel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Favian Lingg scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Kaelin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Appenzellerland United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Stefano Kreyenbühl hit a great ball. Nino Abend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andy Burri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Appenzellerland United's Nino Abend sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Burri narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Mickey Raiola made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Appenzellerland United's goal looked a bit too open when Favian Lingg came free, but Alfonso Kaelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Louis Vetter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Kaelin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Favian Lingg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alfonso Kaelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Claro's Sebastien Urfer got a free kick in the 66th minute. Andy Burri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino Abend, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mickey Raiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Appenzellerland United's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickey Raiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Burri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Abend in the 79th minute of play forced Claro's goalkeeper Andy Burri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nino Abend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Burri having to interfere. A hard shot 85 in the game by Mickey Raiola from a close distance when the talented Andy Burri managed to make a qualified save. Claro's players were relieved. When Appenzellerland United's Mickey Raiola in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claro's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 played minutes Claro got a freekick which was hit by Louis Vetter. The crowd rose to their feet as Appenzellerland United's Nino Abend slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andy Burri. That made the score 3-1 after 90 minutes of play. Nino Abend might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Burri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nino Abend ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Brun hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Claro were victorious despite being under pressure from Appenzellerland United for much of the match.
