Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Lenk fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Lenk's Joerg Karlen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, Oliver Pfulg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lenk's Nino Gruenenfelder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florens Odermatt in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Neuenburg FC's zone, Joerg Karlen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Megnet came out of the goal and Joerg Karlen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralf Ehrler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Oliver Pfulg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregor Megnet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gregor Megnet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joerg Karlen's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Mikel Catalano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikel Catalano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Gregor Megnet managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Lenk's Oliver Pfulg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

If Oliver Pfulg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliver Pfulg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
