When Marcello Giger fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niederried's protests and gave Marcello Giger a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Niederried got a freekick which was hit by Marcello Giger. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Haas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lion Ehrenbolger in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tizian Keist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niederried's Lorenzo Haas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Niederried was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Meyer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fréderic Schellhammer in the 68th minute of play forced Niederried's goalkeeper Tizian Keist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Fréderic Schellhammer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 74 minutes into the game, Alwin Ascani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niederried's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seewis the free kick. In the 74th minute, Alwin Ascani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 75 in the game by Raoul Oster from a close distance when the talented Tizian Keist managed to make a qualified save. Niederried's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Seewis's Jaques Ebersbacher got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Fréderic Schellhammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seewis played a much better game than Niederried and deserved their victory. The Niederried players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
