Niederried's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastien Ziswiler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Buccino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joey Meyer charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Tizian Keist managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Grengiols HC's Irwin Graziani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Niederried getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Joey Meyer hit a great ball. Sebastien Ziswiler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Buccino having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Cyril Kurmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grengiols HC and the Niederried players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Grengiols HC got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Kurmann. 78 minutes into the match, Cyril Kurmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tizian Keist, 1-2. Lorenzo Haas struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ben Buccino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niederried. With a little luck, Niederried's Tizian Keist got control of the ball when Irwin Graziani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tizian Keist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaques Winiger in the 86th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Niederried's Marcello Giger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcello Giger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Niederried protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcello Giger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Grengiols HC a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Piero Hurni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Niederried's Tizian Keist. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grengiols HC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
