Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Neil Graf made the kick off which started today's match. Neil Graf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoine Hecht having to make a save. Antoine Hecht made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Peder Nietlisbach sent off a good shot on target. Jost Oehen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Wolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. BENFICA's Neil Graf got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Antoine Hecht successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute Ulrich Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jost Oehen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Nietlisbach took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoine Hecht. Antoine Hecht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Antoine Hecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Graf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvester Studhalter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Antoine Hecht 23 minutes into the match. Peder Nietlisbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Hecht having to interfere. In the 29th minute Neil Graf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Hecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schönried's Antoine Hecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvester Studhalter in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Pascal Bossard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fréderic Wismer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Antoine Hecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fréderic Wismer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Peder Nietlisbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylvester Studhalter in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoine Hecht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezra Despland to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezra Despland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyonel Roth kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ulrich Hitz came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jost Oehen could save by the left post. After 57 minutes of play, BENFICA's Neil Graf made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoine Hecht was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didier Eggimann kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Peder Nietlisbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoine Hecht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Didier Eggimann made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Schönried's Antoine Hecht tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes, Gabriel Wolf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schönried and the BENFICA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Neil Graf managed to get in a good position for a shot. BENFICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Graf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoine Hecht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Didier Eggimann came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the BENFICA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didier Eggimann couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Schönried got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Wolf. 77 minutes into the match, Neil Graf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoine Hecht. Schönried's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neil Graf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 84 minutes into the game, Chuck Imhof recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jost Oehen. Chuck Imhof showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Jost Oehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezra Despland in the 88th minute of play. Neil Graf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BENFICA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
