Hüttwilen SC's Collin Bizier got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leonard Hengemühl fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hüttwilen SC's protests and gave Leonard Hengemühl a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hüttwilen SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leonard Hengemühl hit a great ball. Joel Biermann kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gregor Jutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didier Christen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaz Stalder kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Bachtolen's Ryan Wemelinger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Collin Bizier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nino Geiger came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Hüttwilen SC's Horaz Stalder. But to his dismay, Horaz Stalder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Bachtolen booed when Hüttwilen SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leigh Niederhauser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelius Baumeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Collin Bizier had several of the Bachtolen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Nino Geiger as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didier Christen in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Jutz saved Hüttwilen SC from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Hüttwilen SC got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Blumer. Collin Bizier in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nino Geiger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Collin Bizier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bachtolen's Nino Geiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Hengemühl in the 92nd minute of play. Gregor Jutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didier Christen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 played minutes Bachtolen got a freekick which was hit by Didier Christen. The Bachtolen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hüttwilen SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hüttwilen SC.
