Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordan Bernuzzi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesko Bianini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beppe Schauber in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tam Küng saved Steffisburg from getting behind. Dick Schaer might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tam Küng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Schaer ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ilian Mahrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harry Mag Eier's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilian Mahrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tam Küng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kain Spiller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, one of Harry Mag Eier:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Harry Mag Eier. The referee gave Steffisburg a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lasse Petermann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Harry Mag Eier's Jesko Bianini. 0-1. A collision led to Steffisburg getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Justus Fabich hit a great ball. Dick Schaer struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tam Küng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harry Mag Eier. When Marlo Renkewitz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steffisburg's protests and gave Marlo Renkewitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Marlo Renkewitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick Schaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tam Küng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Steffisburg got a freekick which was hit by Cordell Dupéré. If Dick Schaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justus Fabich hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute of the match Justus Fabich sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesko Bianini skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordan Bernuzzi to make the kick off. After 56 minutes Harry Mag Eier's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lasse Petermann who took care of the corner kick. Jordan Bernuzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jesko Bianini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dick Schaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th match minute, Harry Mag Eier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Paskuj to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Harry Mag Eier's goalkeeper Jesko Bianini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lasse Petermann. In the 86th match minute, Harry Mag Eier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerom Keller to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Steffisburg getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jordan Bernuzzi hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Steffisburg's Lasse Petermann tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Harry Mag Eier lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
