Ken Schläfli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Teufer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, Ballaigues SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Nolle to maneuver through the defense. Claus Teufer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ken Schläfli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus Teufer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ken Schläfli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claus Teufer in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ken Schläfli saved Ballaigues SC from getting behind. Claus Teufer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ken Schläfli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ballaigues SC's Aaron Syz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kilian Helbling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ballaigues SC's Aaron Syz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kilian Helbling came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballaigues SC's Kenneth Melliger. But to his dismay, Kenneth Melliger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Teufer to strike the kick off in the second half. Kilian Helbling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Melliger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Melliger spun around in front of the goal 67 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Emmishofen's goal. In the 69th minute Kenneth Melliger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kilian Helbling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Claus Teufer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Emmishofen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claus Teufer couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Herman Jutzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislaw Baer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ken Schläfli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Cäsar Gerner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballaigues SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emmishofen the free kick. Cäsar Gerner kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Emmishofen's Kilian Helbling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Melliger in the 86th minute of play. If Claus Teufer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballaigues SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Emmishofen for a fine match.
