Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Thun's Christian Wocher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karsten Gerner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvarez Wellauer in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Jesaja Aiello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Gerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvarez Wellauer in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Robby Reich managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thun's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Reich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Schläfli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, F.C Beauregard's goalkeeper Marc Schläfli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Wocher. When Jesaja Aiello fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C Beauregard's protests and gave Jesaja Aiello a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to F.C Beauregard getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jesaja Aiello hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Christian Wocher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Wocher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, F.C Beauregard's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Miani came free, but Marc Schläfli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Christian Wocher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Schläfli. F.C Beauregard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Wocher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Palorini came free, but Karsten Gerner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Wolfgang Palorini came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the F.C Beauregard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Palorini couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvarez Wellauer in the 58th minute of play forced FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karsten Gerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Palorini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, F.C Beauregard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolfgang Palorini to maneuver through the defense. Wolfgang Palorini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karsten Gerner came out and tried to block the shot, but Wolfgang Palorini slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Jefferson Miani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marc Schläfli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Alvarez Wellauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Gerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvarez Wellauer's late challenge caught a FC Thun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvarez Wellauer helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes F.C Beauregard got a freekick which was hit by Alvarez Wellauer. Wolfgang Palorini struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Karsten Gerner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Beauregard. After 83 minutes of play, FC Thun's Jefferson Miani made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Schläfli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Palorini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karsten Gerner. Wolfgang Palorini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Christian Wocher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Schläfli having to interfere. F.C Beauregard's Alvarez Wellauer got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Alvarez Wellauer off the ground. If Christian Wocher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C Beauregard walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
