Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christian Wocher kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Greg Izzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karsten Gerner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Nathan Trudeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Hecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Miani, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Karsten Gerner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Geiger in the 13th minute of play. Jefferson Miani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grover Tosi during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Thun fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Löbbia SC. Jascha Schmid stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karsten Gerner. 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Nepomuk Croteau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes, Löbbia SC's Jascha Schmid shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karsten Gerner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Löbbia SC reached it. Norbert Hecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robby Reich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Jefferson Miani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Norbert Hecht was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greg Izzo. Löbbia SC's Norbert Hecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Wocher in the 32nd minute of play. Jefferson Miani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Norbert Hecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Schwartz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Christian Wocher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Reich struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Norbert Hecht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Thun. 46 minutes into the match, FC Thun's Nathan Trudeau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Hecht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half FC Thun were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Geiger was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Jascha Schmid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karsten Gerner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jefferson Miani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Geiger in the 69th minute of play forced FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Jefferson Miani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karsten Gerner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Izzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jefferson Miani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Wocher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Geiger came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Löbbia SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Geiger couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Thun getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Grover Tosi hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, FC Thun's Jefferson Miani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norbert Hecht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Christian Wocher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Thun's Jefferson Miani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Hecht. That made the score 1-4 after 96 minutes of play. Nathan Trudeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Hecht having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FC Thun left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Löbbia SC.
