Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruce Zeyer kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tin Genazzi got free with Leopoldo Zihler in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gerd Vittiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruce Zeyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Theiler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Dominic Fenstermacher's late challenge caught a FC Glarus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominic Fenstermacher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Dominic Fenstermacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Theiler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Zeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 18th minute of the match Dominic Fenstermacher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dominic Fenstermacher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Red-Skorpion's Dominic Fenstermacher got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Bruce Zeyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michael Theiler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruce Zeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Theiler having to interfere. When Remo Meuti fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red-Skorpion's protests and gave Remo Meuti a yellow card for diving instead. Remo Meuti kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Red-Skorpion's goal looked a bit too open when LLoyd Stübi came free, but Michael Theiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Remo Meuti with Dragan Scheuber as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 35th minute, Tin Genazzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dragan Scheuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Zihler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by LLoyd Stübi in the 43rd minute of play forced Red-Skorpion's goalkeeper Michael Theiler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tin Genazzi was the one to do the kick off. Tin Genazzi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Bruce Zeyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Michael Theiler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Red-Skorpion defense, Bruce Zeyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Theiler. The Red-Skorpion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Theiler should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragan Scheuber in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Zihler saved FC Glarus from getting behind. 0-4 became the score in the 77th minute when Bruce Zeyer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Red-Skorpion's Tin Genazzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Zihler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Jacques Rösli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red-Skorpion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Rösli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Glarus's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
