Tommy Swinnen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dan Willems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balthazar Spailer hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tommy Swinnen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Armentier in the 10th minute of the match. Dan Willems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joannes Van Eyck struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Karel-Jan Shamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Bande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Armentier in the 19th minute of play forced KAA Bande's goalkeeper Tommy Swinnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Edmond Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Swinnen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Swinnen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries Rauvoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to KAA Bande getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gerard Valcke hit a great ball. Edmond Armentier struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Tommy Swinnen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De snollies. Marc Roockeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Tommy Swinnen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Armentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dan Willems blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Swinnen having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Youri Decock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre-Olivier Laremans kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Karel-Jan Shamp was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guillaume Smet.

If Edmond Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmond Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Swinnen having to interfere. Dan Willemss short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Tommy Swinnen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Octaaf Mestdagh kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Bande's zone, Dan Willems stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Swinnen came out of the goal and Dan Willems tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Edmond Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Swinnen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balthazar Spailer hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, De snollies's Dan Willems sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Swinnen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joannes Van Eyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded De snollies left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KAA Bande.
