The referee ignored CH Gentierakos's protests and gave Arsene Weygaerts a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes CH Gentierakos got a freekick which was hit by Arsene Weygaerts. Paulo Henrique received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karel Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsene Weygaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The CH Gentierakos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rhonas Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
