Fre Van Beylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joost Hemelsoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Profondeville's Stefan Huvenaerts got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes in the game, Paulo Henrique fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fre Van Beylen having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Profondeville's Stefan Huvenaerts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorn Coveliers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Profondeville's zone, Paulo Henrique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fre Van Beylen came out of the goal and Paulo Henrique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorn Coveliers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guust De Mesemacre, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Stefan Huvenaerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jorn Coveliers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Deferme scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorn Coveliers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34th play minutes Joost Hemelsoet shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Fre Van Beylen and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Rhonas Team getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Serge Calstermans hit a great ball. The supporters of Profondeville booed when Rhonas Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Vanhove didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylvain Rouvoet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Constantijn Van Havent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joost Hemelsoet was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Boemans in the 60th minute of play forced Rhonas Team's goalkeeper Jorn Coveliers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Rhonas Team's goalkeeper Jorn Coveliers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantijn Van Havent. Rhonas Team's Jorn Coveliers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Rhonas Team from getting a goal against them. Jorn Coveliers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Deferme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantijn Van Havent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rhonas Team's Jorn Coveliers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Deferme in the 74th minute of play. Profondeville's Fre Van Beylen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Henrique in the 76th minute of play. Jorn Coveliers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Deferme in the 78th minute of the match. Paulo Henrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fre Van Beylen having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Herman De Backer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhonas Team and the Profondeville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herman De Backer hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Rhonas Team's goalkeeper Jorn Coveliers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantijn Van Havent. A collision led to Profondeville getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Stefan Huvenaerts hit a great ball. If Joost Hemelsoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Profondeville's goalkeeper Fre Van Beylen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Henrique took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fre Van Beylen. Fre Van Beylen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Rhonas Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Profondeville were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
