Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hannes de Pelsmaker made the kick off which started today's match. Angelo Baboeuf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes de Pelsmaker in the 12th minute of play. Refael Van Dongel scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janes Damman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Clinckspoor kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Chris-George Carpenter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KSV Ellemelle's Janes Damman didn't even have to move. In the 27th minute, Refael Van Dongel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pierre-Paul De Meulder came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Lierde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Paul De Meulder couldn't finish the play. If Luc Verheyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luc Verheyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Hannes de Pelsmaker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Baboeuf. Hannes de Pelsmaker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Angelo Baboeuf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes de Pelsmaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Lierde's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Verheyden came free, but Angelo Baboeuf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Verheyden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Baboeuf having to interfere. Refael Van Dongel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Janes Damman made a huge save. Hannes de Pelsmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Angelo Baboeuf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lierde's Angelo Baboeuf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes de Pelsmaker in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes de Pelsmaker in the 67th minute of play forced Lierde's goalkeeper Angelo Baboeuf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Pierre-Paul De Meulder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luc Verheyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Refael Van Dongel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Janes Damman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pierre-Paul De Meulder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The KSV Ellemelle fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lierde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
