AFC Haasdonk's Davy Haentjens got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yvan Smeulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lucas Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylven Olemans kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When AFC Haasdonk's Yvan Smeulders in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KSV Vliermaal's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Van Deijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davy Haentjens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davy Haentjens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lucas Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Van Deijck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yvan Smeulders's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Yvan Smeulders struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lucas Van Deijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Haasdonk. After a rather tough play, KSV Vliermaal's William Frans got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Davy Haentjens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lucas Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Haasdonk's Yvan Smeulders got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Yvan Smeulders made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Vanooteghem in the 53rd minute of play forced AFC Haasdonk's goalkeeper Leon Uytterhoeven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes AFC Haasdonk got a freekick which was hit by Davy Haentjens. Rene Vanooteghem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leon Uytterhoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yvan Smeulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lucas Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yvan Smeulders in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Van Deijck saved KSV Vliermaal from getting behind. AFC Haasdonk's Davy Haentjens got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Van Deijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Smeulders in the 64th minute of the match. Davy Haentjens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Van Deijck having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, KSV Vliermaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Frans to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, KSV Vliermaal's goal looked a bit too open when Yvan Smeulders came free, but Lucas Van Deijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Uytterhoeven came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Vliermaal's Rene Vanooteghem. But to his dismay, Rene Vanooteghem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sylven Olemans hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of KSV Vliermaal booed when AFC Haasdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Winnepenninck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Jelle Neirynck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Haasdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jelle Neirynck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robbin Van den Brul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, AFC Haasdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvan Smeulders to maneuver through the defense.
