Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vinkwijk's Remi Demarez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Vinkwijk's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rompen came free, but Glenn Van Glabeeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorie Van Mellaert hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Berten Tkint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norbert Terhorst. Berten Tkint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Raeymakers in the 20th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Glenn Van Glabeeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Vinkwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile Clinckspoor to maneuver through the defense. If Marcus Rompen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berten Tkint kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Emile Clinckspoor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vinkwijk's zone, Matty Weets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Van Glabeeke came out of the goal and Matty Weets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Regis Raeymakers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glenn Van Glabeeke. Vinkwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Regis Raeymakers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

KSV Diksmuide's Norbert Terhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emile Clinckspoor in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Rompen in the 58th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Glenn Van Glabeeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Van Glabeeke came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Diksmuide's Regis Raeymakers. But to his dismay, Regis Raeymakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Regis Raeymakers got free with Glenn Van Glabeeke in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, Regis Raeymakers lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Glenn Van Glabeeke. In the 74th minute, Berten Tkint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vinkwijk getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Christian Van Bockorst hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Boris Van Calster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Diksmuide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Van Calster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Van Doren hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Boris Van Calster, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Vinkwijk's Glenn Van Glabeeke got control of the ball when Regis Raeymakers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Regis Raeymakers did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Glenn Van Glabeeke 85 minutes into the match. Glenn Van Glabeeke was a little too slow when Marcus Rompen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-6. KSV Diksmuide's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
