Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Perry de Pelsmacker started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Ittre's Julien Smet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teun Omblet. Teun Omblet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nico Stuijckens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Teun Omblet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the game, Nico Stuijckens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teun Omblet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd match minute, Ittre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dre Imbereghs to maneuver through the defense. If Nico Stuijckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Rudy Cuveliers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, one of Ittre:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arnaud De Greef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry de Pelsmacker in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Perry de Pelsmacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Verdenne's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry de Pelsmacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaud De Greef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaud De Greef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry de Pelsmacker in the 74th minute of play. Perry de Pelsmacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ittre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Perry de Pelsmacker scored to the left of an out of position Arnaud De Greef, making the score, 2-2. In the 84th minute, Gust De Werdt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Dre Imbereghs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teun Omblet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gust De Werdt hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ittre's Nico Stuijckens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teun Omblet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
