Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Philipp Temmerman came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Moerdijk's Richy Bosmans. But to his dismay, Richy Bosmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Richy Bosmans struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Philipp Temmerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moerdijk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Thielens in the 10th minute of play forced FC Herve's goalkeeper Philipp Temmerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Francois Quintens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Herve fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Francois Quintens came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Herve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francois Quintens couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gert-Jan Antheunis made a kick off. Sergio Van Dongel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jim Meersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Thielens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philipp Temmerman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Cederique Strupar's late challenge caught a Moerdijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cederique Strupar helped the player get up and apologised. Cederique Strupar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 61st minute, when Moerdijk's Matijs Worteleers after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Philipp Temmerman in FC Herve's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 63rd minute, Gert-Jan Antheunis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Herve fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Matijs Worteleers fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moerdijk's protests and gave Matijs Worteleers a yellow card for diving instead. Matijs Worteleers kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Gert-Jan Antheunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Meersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Herve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francois Quintens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Moerdijk's goal looked a bit too open when Gert-Jan Antheunis came free, but Jim Meersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Thielens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philipp Temmerman having to make a save. FC Herve's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
