With his leg Danny Van Hove managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Heuvelland's Alphonse Rousseau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Romain Van Malcot charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romain Van Malcot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Harry Potter FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Romain Van Malcot hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alphonse Rousseau in the 7th managed to get into a good position. Heuvelland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander De Potter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Basiel Meynen scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wart Feys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basiel Meynen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wart Feys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Heuvelland getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hannes Verstraeten hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Harry Potter FC's Basiel Meynen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Feys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Matty De Muijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes in the game, Alexander De Potter dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Matty De Muijser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alphonse Rousseau hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Alexander De Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basiel Meynen came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Harry Potter FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basiel Meynen couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Chris-George Van Craen made the kick off in the second half. Alexander De Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basiel Meynen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Wart Feys when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Matty De Muijser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Harry Potter FC's Basiel Meynen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Alphonse Rousseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander De Potter in the 78th minute of play forced Heuvelland's goalkeeper Wart Feys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basiel Meynen came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wart Feys could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Basiel Meynen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harry Potter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basiel Meynen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wart Feys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Matty De Muijser fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heuvelland's protests and gave Matty De Muijser a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Heuvelland getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Matty De Muijser hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, Heuvelland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Verstraeten to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes Harry Potter FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robrecht Rijmenans who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Harry Potter FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
