Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frits Van Calster started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, KFC Vielsalm's Dyllen Bernaerts got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Lander Dobbeleir came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SV Athos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lander Dobbeleir couldn't finish the play. Giovanni Van der Veeren kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gill Van Huele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Dobbeleir in the 14th minute of play. Frits Van Calster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gill Van Huele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lander Dobbeleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Lander Dobbeleir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gill Van Huele. KFC Vielsalm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lander Dobbeleir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lander Dobbeleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gill Van Huele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Omblet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jules Bautmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, SV Athos's goalkeeper Jules Bautmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Omblet. Vince Moerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The KFC Vielsalm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Athos were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vince Moerman made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, SV Athos's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Van Calster came free, but Jules Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frits Van Calster sped through SV Athos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jules Bautmans. After 68 played minutes SV Athos got a freekick which was hit by Raf Van den Berge. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tobias Omblet managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Vielsalm's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Omblet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jules Bautmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lander Dobbeleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SV Athos booed when KFC Vielsalm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario De Boeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits Van Calster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Bautmans having to interfere. Tobias Omblet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jules Bautmans came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Vielsalm's Tobias Omblet. But to his dismay, Tobias Omblet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the KFC Vielsalm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
