Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lukasz Czech started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Godfried Rosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elixir's Jan-Simon Van Cleijnenbreugel in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Maffe's goalie prevented a goal. Harold Kerckmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Czech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elixir's Benjamin Stuckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Van Huyck in the 28th minute of play. Elixir's Aime Van Engelen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Czech in the 34th minute of play forced Club Maffe's goalkeeper Harold Kerckmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Lukasz Czech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Maffe's Harold Kerckmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aime Van Engelen sped through Club Maffe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harold Kerckmans. After having played for 42 minutes, Lukasz Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elixir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Czech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aime Van Engelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Van Huyck was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes Elixir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sylvain Scheppers who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sylvain Scheppers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Elixir's Benjamin Stuckens did a great save. Benjamin Stuckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Bruyneel in the 60th minute of the match. Club Maffe's Arno Van Huyck got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arno Van Huyck hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lukasz Czech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Aime Van Engelen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harold Kerckmans, 1-3. Aime Van Engelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aime Van Engelen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Harold Kerckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elixir. Harold Kerckmans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aime Van Engelen in the 90th minute. When Lukasz Czech came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Elixir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Czech couldn't finish the play. If Ernest Bruyneel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elixir played a much better game than Club Maffe and deserved their victory. The Club Maffe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
