The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Pino Rousseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wannes Demuynck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Jeffery Gysemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbrecht Dekker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binjamin Van Huytvenne in the 9th minute. Jonge-Warriors's Anthony Van Den Casteele shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Robbrecht Dekker but with some difficulty. 12 minutes into the game, Aime De Reijck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonge-Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fenerbahce the free kick. Aime De Reijck hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Julien Struelens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jonge-Warriors and the fenerbahce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julien Struelens kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Pierre-Olivier Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Antonio Schoovaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre-Olivier Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wannes Demuynck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, fenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Rix came free, but Robbrecht Dekker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Pierre-Olivier Stevens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fenerbahce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute, Aime De Reijck made a precise shot to the right of Robbrecht Dekker. fenerbahce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 37th minute, Julien Struelens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robbrecht Dekker. The goal made the score 2-1. fenerbahce's Robbrecht Dekker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Struelens in the 41st minute of play.

After 53 played minutes, Jonge-Warriors's Paul Huijsmans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robbrecht Dekker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jonge-Warriors reached it. Wannes Demuynck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Saez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of fenerbahce booed when Jonge-Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Delmeire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, fenerbahce's Antonio Schoovaerts got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pierre-Olivier Stevens had several of the Jonge-Warriors's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Wannes Demuynck as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Jonge-Warriors's zone, Pierre-Olivier Stevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wannes Demuynck came out of the goal and Pierre-Olivier Stevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre-Olivier Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wannes Demuynck having to interfere. Robbrecht Dekker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Binjamin Van Huytvenne's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, fenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Struelens came free, but Robbrecht Dekker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robbrecht Dekker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binjamin Van Huytvenne, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes, Antonio Schoovaerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fenerbahce and the Jonge-Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to fenerbahce getting a freekick after 82 minutes play.
