Jonge-Warriors's Wannes Demuynck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Matthieu in the 9th minute of play. Emanuel Rix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis-Philippe Schellekens having to interfere. Lionel Matthieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe-Arnaud Biesen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. KVSK Mariakerke's Louis-Philippe Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Rix in the 17th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Jonge-Warriors's Binjamin Van Huytvenne made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louis-Philippe Schellekens was left in no man's land by his defense there! KVSK Mariakerke's Louis-Philippe Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Rix in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georges-Philippe Hosselaer during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jonge-Warriors booed when KVSK Mariakerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges-Philippe Hosselaer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emanuel Rix came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Jonge-Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Rix couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute of the match Charles De Reijck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wannes Demuynck skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lionel Matthieu to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Jonge-Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Julien Struelens. Wannes Demuynck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Matthieu in the 53rd minute of play. Julien Struelens hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of KVSK Mariakerke booed when Jonge-Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aime De Reijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Matthieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wannes Demuynck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Matthieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Jonge-Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aime De Reijck to maneuver through the defense. KVSK Mariakerke's Louis-Philippe Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Rix in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Binjamin Van Huytvenne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonge-Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binjamin Van Huytvenne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louis-Philippe Schellekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Rix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Matthieu in the 75th minute of play forced Jonge-Warriors's goalkeeper Wannes Demuynck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aime De Reijck kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Wannes Demuynck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Matthieu in the 80th minute of the match. Philippe-Arnaud Biesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wannes Demuynck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jonge-Warriors's zone, Philippe-Arnaud Biesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wannes Demuynck came out of the goal and Philippe-Arnaud Biesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lionel Matthieu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wannes Demuynck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lionel Matthieu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Jonge-Warriors's Aime De Reijck got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Lionel Matthieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wannes Demuynck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, KVSK Mariakerke's Philippe-Arnaud Biesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wannes Demuynck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Jonge-Warriors getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Aime De Reijck hit a great ball. Jonge-Warriors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though KVSK Mariakerke had controlled the match.
