Val's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fransesco Demarrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th match minute, KFC Beerzel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Cooreman to maneuver through the defense. Reinaud Helssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis La Rose in the 17th minute of the match. Nick De Tapp kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Matthieu De Munck made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kasper vrolix sent off a good shot on target. KFC Beerzel's Matthieu De Munck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fransesco Demarrez in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Luuk Coremans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis La Rose in the 32nd minute of play forced Val's goalkeeper Reinaud Helssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Val was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Claes to maneuver through the defense. Reinaud Helssen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Regis La Rose's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Jordi Cooreman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the KFC Beerzel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordi Cooreman couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Val was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Claes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 48 minutes, Regis La Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Beerzel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Regis La Rose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute, Regis La Rose reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reinaud Helssen. The goal made the score 0-1. Matthieu De Munck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fransesco Demarrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fransesco Demarrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Matthieu De Munck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaud Helssen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordi Cooreman went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Reinaud Helssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regis La Rose in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Luuk Coremans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaud Helssen. Val's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luuk Coremans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kasper vrolix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthieu De Munck having to interfere. Luuk Coremans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Reinaud Helssen firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Val's Jos Van Geele got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Val's Reinaud Helssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Regis La Rose in the 92nd minute of play. When Val's Fransesco Demarrez in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Beerzel's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Val's goalkeeper Reinaud Helssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luuk Coremans. In the 96th minute, Luuk Coremans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Beerzel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The KFC Beerzel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
