Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fransesco Demarrez got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Val getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jos Van Geele hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Filip Caes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Val's Reinaud Helssen didn't even have to move. Dieter Rousseau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Val's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Ingelborghs came free, but Reinaud Helssen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diederik Oelaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaud Helssen having to interfere. Kasper vrolix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stijn Van Bouschot having to interfere. Jos Van Geele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stijn Van Bouschot having to interfere. Stijn Van Bouschot made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Kasper vrolix sent off a good shot on target. Bavo Claes's late challenge caught a Steenokkerzeel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bavo Claes helped the player get up and apologised. Bavo Claes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Val got a freekick which was hit by Jos Van Geele. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Ingelborghs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Joe Ingelborghs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steenokkerzeel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe Ingelborghs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaud Helssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Ingelborghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaud Helssen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Ingelborghs's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Stijn Van Bouschot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper vrolix in the 57th minute of the match. Reinaud Helssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Ingelborghs in the 61st minute of play. Karl Mesmaekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Reinaud Helssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Val got a freekick which was hit by Laurent De Hertoghe. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Steenokkerzeel's goalkeeper Stijn Van Bouschot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Steenokkerzeel got a freekick which was hit by Filip Caes. The supporters of Steenokkerzeel booed when Val was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan Liebrechts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaud Helssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Ingelborghs in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Val had won after a very even match.
