Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulus De Beer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paulus De Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Deville having to interfere. Sjef Schalken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Armand Adriaensens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunter Ingelborchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjef Schalken scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armand Adriaensens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gunter Ingelborchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Maffe getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Elias Huyghens hit a great ball. Paulus De Beer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre-Olivier Deville having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Gunter Ingelborchs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre-Olivier Deville. Nostra AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunter Ingelborchs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Gunter Ingelborchs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunter Ingelborchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nostra AFC's Oswald Van Hoyvelt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmanuel Pastijns in the 33 minute of the game. Elias Cilio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Elias Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sjef Schalken made a kick off. Paulus De Beer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pierre-Olivier Deville made a huge save. After having played for 58 minutes, Paulus De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulus De Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Maffe defense, Sjef Schalken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armand Adriaensens. The Maffe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armand Adriaensens should have stopped the shot. Armand Adriaensens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Sjef Schalken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Cilio in the 77th minute of play forced Maffe's goalkeeper Armand Adriaensens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Olivier Deville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulus De Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunter Ingelborchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Emmanuel Pastijns in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nostra AFC's Oswald Van Hoyvelt. In the 88th minute, Nostra AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunter Ingelborchs fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gunter Ingelborchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maffe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
