With a little luck, KFC Gooik's Frederic de Pelsmacker got control of the ball when Franck Steenberghs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gunter Schuts made a precise shot to the right of Frederic de Pelsmacker. KFC Gooik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, RSC Stakendijk's Frederic de Pelsmacker threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gunter Schuts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Franck Steenberghs in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frederic de Pelsmacker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to RSC Stakendijk getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Roni Dejardin hit a great ball. Cesar Roockeloes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanis Gilis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederic de Pelsmacker was a little too slow when Gunter Schuts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, KFC Gooik's goalkeeper Frederic de Pelsmacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franck Steenberghs. In the 34th minute of the match, Franck Steenberghs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frederic de Pelsmacker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to KFC Gooik getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Casper Schoenmaekers hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Wannes Flocquier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Roockeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franck Steenberghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Mathieux Wolfdoncx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederic de Pelsmacker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunter Schuts's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Gunter Schuts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic de Pelsmacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, RSC Stakendijk's Gunter Schuts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederic de Pelsmacker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 57th match minute, RSC Stakendijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Roockeloos to maneuver through the defense. Yanis Gilis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of RSC Stakendijk booed when KFC Gooik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daan Dechamps didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gunter Schuts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wannes Flocquier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Roockeloes having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Wannes Flocquier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Gooik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wannes Flocquier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, RSC Stakendijk's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieux Wolfdoncx came free, but Cesar Roockeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wannes Flocquier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yanis Gilis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cesar Roockeloes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Roockeloos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Yanis Gilis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Gunter Schuts made a precise shot to the right of Frederic de Pelsmacker. KFC Gooik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Wannes Flocquier in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cesar Roockeloes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. RSC Stakendijk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
