Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geordy Uyttebroeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Maenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Nicolaas Bourgignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geordy Uyttebroeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoph De Lauw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anton Laeremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Cappels got free with Anton Laeremans in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Caput Bovis's Anton Laeremans got control of the ball when Christoph De Lauw tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoph De Lauw in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Laeremans saved Caput Bovis from getting behind. If Nicolaas Bourgignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Claude Maenhout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, F.C.PORTO's goal looked a bit too open when Staf Van der Veeken came free, but Geordy Uyttebroeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, F.C.PORTO's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Maenhout came free, but Geordy Uyttebroeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoph De Lauw to make the kick off. F.C.PORTO's Geordy Uyttebroeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staf Van der Veeken in the 58th minute of play. Christoph De Lauw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoph De Lauw in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Laeremans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Evert Maerschalcx came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the F.C.PORTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Maerschalcx couldn't finish the play. When Luc Verbraecken fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caput Bovis's protests and gave Luc Verbraecken a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caput Bovis getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luc Verbraecken hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, F.C.PORTO's Christoph De Lauw nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Laeremans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 85th minute, Evert Maerschalcx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of F.C.PORTO booed when Caput Bovis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Geijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C.PORTO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
