After having played for 5 minutes, Hannes Susters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Susters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Michiel Van Gysel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Harold Vloebergh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Michiel Van Gysel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harold Vloebergh was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Hannes Susters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Vloebergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
