Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Saint-Amand's Ben Jannes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert's Daevy Van Cauwenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Jannes in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Jannes in the 13th minute of play forced KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert's goalkeeper Daevy Van Cauwenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Jannes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Van Huele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Salms in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Paul-Louis Alaerts put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Daevy Van Cauwenberg. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lorenzo Salms who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint-Amand's Cesar Van Huele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Sem Van Deijck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint-Amand the free kick. A collision led to KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sem Van Deijck hit a great ball. Brecht Hackes short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Cesar Van Huele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Salms made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Chris-George Van Eynde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lorenzo Salms came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Salms couldn't finish the play. Brecht Hacke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cesar Van Huele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Van Huele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brecht Hacke's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Brecht Hacke managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Mont-Saint-Guibert's supporters rose to their feet, but Brecht Hacke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Van Huele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul-Louis Alaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daevy Van Cauwenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Brecht Hacke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Van Huele having to interfere. Bernd De Maijer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Paul-Louis Alaerts struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Daevy Van Cauwenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint-Amand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brecht Hacke in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Van Huele saved Saint-Amand from getting behind. Ben Jannes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul-Louis Alaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Daevy Van Cauwenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Didier De Raedemaeker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Brecht Hacke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Van Huele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
