Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brent-Jan Beaufort made the kick off which started today's match. Brent-Jan Beaufort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arsene Teurfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilian De Schepper hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Renzo Terwenhout made a precise shot to the right of Arsene Teurfs. KFC Oeselgem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lenny Wans kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renzo Terwenhout in the 17th minute of play forced KFC Oeselgem's goalkeeper Arsene Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Renzo Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yvan Torfs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, KFC Oeselgem's goal looked a bit too open when Renzo Terwenhout came free, but Arsene Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Deerlijk's Harrie Van Linthoud got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arsene Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent-Jan Beaufort in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Brent-Jan Beaufort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsene Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes SC Deerlijk got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Wans. Arsene Teurfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent-Jan Beaufort, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Renzo Terwenhout scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsene Teurfs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco De Becker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, KFC Oeselgem's goalkeeper Arsene Teurfs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renzo Terwenhout. Arsene Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Beaufort in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Brent-Jan Beaufort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Deerlijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent-Jan Beaufort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harrie Van Linthoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Arsene Teurfs made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yvan Torfs in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sander Rosbach saved SC Deerlijk from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, SC Deerlijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Wans to maneuver through the defense. KFC Oeselgem's Tim-Jan Van der Vloedt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Deerlijk. SC Deerlijk's Sander Rosbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yvan Torfs in the 76th minute of play. Marco De Becker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Yvan Torfs managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Oeselgem's supporters rose to their feet, but Yvan Torfs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sander Rosbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco De Becker in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sander Rosbach saved SC Deerlijk from getting behind. After a rather tough play, KFC Oeselgem's Kim Debock got a free kick in the 88th minute. Karel-Jan Schrevens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsene Teurfs. KFC Oeselgem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Marco De Becker made a precise shot to the right of Sander Rosbach. SC Deerlijk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
