Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jean Louis kicked off to start the match. Arsene Teurfs came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lincent's Dries Grammet. But to his dismay, Dries Grammet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute Jean Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsene Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsene Teurfs having to interfere. If Dries Grammet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsene Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Louis in the 16th minute of play. When Lincent's Jean Louis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Oeselgem's goalie prevented a goal. Arsene Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Louis in the 19th minute of play. Arsene Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Louis in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsene Teurfs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Yanis Van Der Meren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KFC Oeselgem's Kim Debock pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jean Louis's late challenge caught a KFC Oeselgem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Louis helped the player get up and apologised. Arsene Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Louis in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Louis in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsene Teurfs saved KFC Oeselgem from getting behind. Jean Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yvan Torfs was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Guilian De Schepper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes, Lincent's Jacobus Vleminx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arsene Teurfs came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lincent reached it. If Jean Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dries Grammet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, KFC Oeselgem's Guilian De Schepper got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Jean Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lincent's Dries Grammet got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Oeselgem's zone, Dries Grammet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsene Teurfs came out of the goal and Dries Grammet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jorg Caspers fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lincent's protests and gave Jorg Caspers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Jorg Caspers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 80th minute, when KFC Oeselgem's Guilian De Schepper after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Mark Quintens in Lincent's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Mark Quintens made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Yvan Torfs sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Jean Louis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsene Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Jorg Caspers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsene Teurfs skillfully saved the ball.
