Wim Frederickx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vorsen booed when mattiasfc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waud Roggen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remy Rauvoets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy van Bedts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Frederickx having to interfere. Cedrik Langendonck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Rauvoets, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 27 minutes, Piet Uytterhoeven made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vorsen's Wim Frederickx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cedrik Langendonck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Kestens in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Remy Rauvoets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remy Rauvoets to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Lander Leerbels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Frederickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy van Bedts in the 62nd minute of the match. If Piet Uytterhoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Frederickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy van Bedts's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmy van Bedts in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wim Frederickx saved Vorsen from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Piet Uytterhoeven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vorsen booed when mattiasfc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Van Dongel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vorsen's Lander Leerbels got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Bas Lefevere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. mattiasfc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vorsen the free kick.
